Is The U.S. Getting A 51st State?

Puerto Rico has applied to become America’s 51st state which will be the first time since 1959 that the United States might acquire another state to the union. The road to statehood is not guaranteed, needing approval from Congress, and many are wondering what this would mean for the political and economic landscape. Ironically enough, most seem more concerned with fitting another star on the flag’s design…  Stay tuned, and weigh in.
