Reeta Wolfsohn to Speak at the NASW National Conference and Financial Empowerment Symposium

Reeta Wolfsohn, CMSW, founder of Center for Financial Social Work, will be in the nation’s capital from July 23rd through July 27th to keynote and speak at two national events.

Financial Empowerment Symposium 2014

On Thursday, July 24, 2014, Reeta will keynote at the National Network to End Domestic Violence‘s 2014 Financial Empowerment Symposium. Ms. Wolfsohn says she is excited to speak on the topic of: Femonomics: the Gender of Money. The keynote will demonstrate the relationship between money and abuse and include strategies and materials to help attendees provide their clients with the financial tools and skills needed to be more empowered and proactive with their money.

NASW National Conference 2014

On Saturday, July 26, 2014, Reeta will speak at the National NASW Conference on, The Role of Financial Social Work in Social and Economic Justice. According to Wolfsohn, “As the founder of Financial Social Work, this has been and exciting year for me and for my work. In January, Financial Social Work was added to the Oxford online Social Work Encyclopedia, and now I have the opportunity to share the relevance of FSW to all client populations with colleagues from across the country.”
