According to Nationmaster.com, the United States imprisons about 715 individuals out of 100,000; the highest ratio in the world. In Madison, Wisconsin 1,000 faith-based social justice advocates gathered on Thursday for a day of action that is concerned about reducing the State’s imprisonment ratio. The campaign is called 11×15, which aims at reducing the amount of prisoners to 11,000 by 2015.
