2013, a New Year…
So, let’s start off the New Year bringing up the word Gratitude.
We should focus on appreciation, saying thanks and finding things to be grateful for like: health, education, income, friends, family, employment, food, a roof over our heads…. everything else is ‘window dressing’ in a sense.
“Gratitude can reframe our thinking and make us feel happier instantly- and that’s just the start.” – Louisa Jewell, President of Canadian Positive Psychology Association
Use all of your senses to appreciate and be fully present. Write down what you are grateful for each day and say ‘thank you.’ A simple word that has a lot of power.
