The Storm – A Poem

Thought this might be nice to share for people who are having a rough time of things.

The Storm

By Crystal Hill

A Storm Barrels through, the seas swell.

The whole world has become rage.

Everything is unfamiliar.

No land, no light, no harbor.

It is not always easy to keep composure.

So many moments of regret and so many promises of change.

No longer looking for the world to change; no longer looking for the self to change.

How does a person go beyond going beyond?

Pray.

And the rain is not  as a harsh; the seas not as high.

A memory of balance.

The sun destroys the clouds, the port is clear.

The destination is set.

Tired, and making my way home.
