It’s That Feeling You Get From A Song

Life isn’t rocket science. Well maybe to a rocket scientist, but to everyone else it really is easier. So I am sitting here listening to “Over The Hills And Far Away” by Led Zeppelin, and it occurs to me that everything we are striving for can be summed up in the way it feels to listen to a song that you absolutely cannot live without. I am talking about one of those songs that actually changed who you were. Anyone else feel that way? I bet most of you recalled a song that makes you feel that way, and I am also willing to wager that for a tiny second maybe you actually felt it. So here it is, why do we work? We work so we can feel that way. Why do we love? The same. It’s that we are trying to recreate with all our efforts. It can’t be quantified, and it goes away the more you speak about it.
