DREAM Act Could Become A Reality

The Obama administration is hitting the ground running. Soon after coming out in favor of gay marriage, the Obama administration has commented that they will stop the deportation of young illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children. This would mean that children younger than 16 who have lived in the United States for at least 5 years, graduated from high school or joined the military could gain work permits. It will not grant citizenship, but will remove the threat of deportation from their lives, especially those who wish to attend college. This will surely be a hot topic in the upcoming elections.
