So Which Is It Nature or Nurture?

Scientists are consistently finding that the old debate between the nature and nurture lay somewhere in the middle. “A new series of “nature-nurture” maps produced by the team revealed that some areas are “environmental hotspots” for particular traits, but in other places the same attribute is mainly governed by genetics.” I always thought this was a silly way to divide up the world. How can nurture be different then nature. Our instincts come from nature, so does our means of subsistence ect. It seem almost obvious that these are interdependent phenomena. The article and maps give  pretty clear picture that this is not always a linear relationship.
