Pre-Exisiting Condition? You Better Already Have Coverage Under Romney’s Plan

Mitt Romney stated that under his insurance plan should he become elected he would allow those with preexisting conditions to have health insurance….granted that they already have insurance. <a href="http://thinkprogress.org/health/2012/06/12/498156/romney-confirms-he-will-deny-insurance-to-millions-with-pre-existing-conditions-if-obamacare-is-struck-down/" title="Denied healthcare for those with healthcare needs">Anyone who has gone a period of time without insurance, or have had trouble gaining insurance would still be left out of this plan as they have not been "continuously insured.</a>" Basically this is to cover those switching jobs, a law already in place from the HIPPA law of 1996 which forbade insurances from denying coverage to those who have been covered continuously. He also does not address the concern over the high costs insurances charge to those with these conditions, allowing them "no limit" to what they can charge for coverage. Then again, maybe he'll just claim we could borrow the premiums from family, his solution to high tuition costs, high interest rates and increasing debt of the American people.
