“We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.” Whether it’s a Buddhist saying or the foundation of cognitive behavioral therapy, it is universally true. Our thoughts, conscious and subconscious shape our worlds. We believe what we tell our selves, and often what others tell us, especially as we are growing up. We then act in accordance with those beliefs. What are you telling yourself? It’s your life and your world, work consciously to create the one you want by listening to what your thoughts are telling you and redirect as necessary to reflect your current life and values. Choose to listen to and increase the thoughts you want directing you toward the life you want.
